Apollo NANO Micro Review
Time to get into the good stuff! This stealthy piece of vapor making hardware is seriously NANO. With the tank attached the entire set-up is only 3.5 inches tall. It is slender and light, too. The compromise on size, as always, is capacity. But despite working with such a small space, you will still have a 1200 mAh internal battery capable of pushing 50 watts. With the 0.6 ohm Kanthal NANO tank coils I found the vaping sweetspot to be at about 30 watts.
By the way, the NANO coils do not come in a TC wire option. So if you do want to use the NANO micro mod in temp control you will need to attach a TC capable atomizer into the 510 connection. I did not test the NANO Micro in temp control. Nor did I vape it consistently at 50 watts. I tried it at 50 but like I said the sweetspot is more in the 30 range. My interest was using it the way you are going to use it. As an every day discreet vape that you take to work. In other words, a working person’s electronic cigarette mod.
Real World Micro Mod
I have seen a number of other Apollo NANO Micro reviews. In those reviews I see a lot of tag lines. Lines like “power in the palm of your hand.” Or, “TC features in a mini mod.” I do not care about that stuff or about some tag line. Look, sure, 50 watts is good but it’s not powerful. The NANO Micro is not about “50 watts of power in the palm of your hand.” If you vape it at 50 watts all the time it will only last an hour or two. In the real world, you will be vaping the NANo coils at 30 to 30 watts and enjoying fantastic, efficient and realistic vaping.
I am not going to sit here and talk to you about power or advanced features. There are other mods for those things. I am not concerned about the temperature control either. It is fantastic to have TC as an option but if TC is your thing check out the Apollo Solare mod with the Evolv DNA75 chip.
A Discreet, Practical Vape Mod
The fact of the matter is that the Apollo NANO Micro is an affordable, warranty backed mini mod from an American vape company. It is a very high quality, easy to use box mod that is practical to carry and enjoy. It is a practical vape that you can carry and enjoy privately.
