We have been using the Cleito for a while now and have already named it one of the best vape tanks of 2016, so I guess it’s about time that we do a full Aspire Cleito review! This is an affordable, excellent quality vape tank that is very easy to use. This is a top value for your dollar as you will be able to enjoy a premium sub ohm vaping experience at a price to fit any budget. The price tag on this vape tank is under the $25 mark and when you get your from Direct vapor you are going to get free shipping on top of that.
In the opening paragraph I have already basically endorsed the Cleito. Of course, I have details to back it up! The description on the back of the Cleito box says “Broad flavor, tempestuous airflow, vast vapor and incredibly simple and easy to use.” As the process of our Aspire Cleito review will confirm, that description is accurate. The Aspire Cleito tank does have beautiful airflow, excellent flavor and lots and lots of dense, rich vapor.
I’ll keep the Aspire Cleito review as brief as possible but there is a lot to talk about. Let’s kick things off by going over a few of the basics. It is a top fill vape tank and the top fill function is very effective. It is always a good idea to close the airflow when filling from the top to make sure that there are no leaks. In the case of the Cleito, we do make this recommendation but have to say that even when we filled it with the airflow open, we did not have any leaks.
The biggest distinguishable feature of the Aspire Cleito subohm vape tank is the coil design and how it incorporates into the overall tank design. Generally, vape tanks have a chimney section that fits over the coils. This is not the case with the Aspire Cleito. The overall height of the Cleito is 55 mm. The height of the coils is 33 mm. The top of the tank secures directly to the top of the coil head. The chimney is actually a part of the coil itself.
So what would the advantage be? One thing is that you are drawing your vapor a bit closer to the coil and that is probably what makes the flavor stand out so well. The other thing is that with no interruptions or breaks in the flow of air and vapor, this perhaps contributes to the smoothness of the draw and the simply awesome airflow performance.
If you enjoy subohm vaping or are thinking of trying subohm vaping and you want a hassle free, easy to use tank, the Aspire Cleito will fit your needs to a T.
Aspire Cleito Top Fill Vape Tank
More nuts and bolts of our Aspire Cleito review. The Cleito comes with both a 0.4 ohm coil and a 0.2 ohm coil. It comes with a selection of vape bands including some that cover the top of the tank. There are two ideas behind these top cover bands. Number one, they change up the look and the style. Next, they are designed to mitigate the heat and help keep your lips cool when you are doing some intense vaping. Aspire calls them “heat dissipation cuffs”.
Before vaping with any new coil, it is a good idea to “prime” the wick with 3 to 5 drops of e-juice. With authentic Cleito coils, put a drop in each e-juice port and a couple from the top as well.
The Aspire Cleito also comes with an extra Pyrex glass tank in case you accidentally break one. All of the components fit together seamlessly. The engineering and precision machining really stands out as everything connects so smoothly. Very impressive for any vape tank not to mention one that costs less than $25 bucks.
At the time of this Aspire Cleito review, we are hearing about a number of clone Cleitos flooding the market. We advise buying your Cleito from Direct Vapor. They are authorized vendors of authentic Aspire vaping products. See the Aspire authenticity certificate.

Overall, it is very easy to use. Combine the Cleito with an easy use mod the the Sigelei T150 touch screen mod that has a big, easy to read screen that likewise makes it easy to adjust. Of course, the Cleito will make an excellent partner for any of you favorite mods that are capable of up to 70 watts of power.
Aspire Cleito Coils
Authentic Aspire Cleito coils are 33 mm tall and have an 8 mm bore. Yes, these are big coils! They come in 0.2 ohm coils and 0.4 ohm coils. The recommended vaping range for the 0.4 ohm coils is 40 watts to 60 watts and the range for the 0.2 ohm coils is 55 watts to 70 watts. Currently, Aspire offers Kanthal coils so there is no temperature control available at this time. It is possible, if not likely, that Aspire will offer Ni200, Ti and/or stainless steel temp control Cleito coils at some point.
Cleito coils boast organic cotton wicking and beautifully wrapped Clapton coils. Claptons are becoming the coils style of choice for many vapers because of the immense vapor and flavor. The fact that the Cleito does use Claptons is another big plus in our book and only adds to the value of this particular tank.
You can see in the image above that the size, particularly the height, really stands out as being much different from the majority of coils that we have seen. The height, of course, is because the chimney is a part of the coil as opposed to being a part of the tank. Like we talked about earlier, this perhaps explains the smooth draw and airflow as well as the excellent flavor. We found that you can get a full week of heavy vaping out of one Cleito coil. That is very, very good. No doubt these are top quality coils.
There is something that you need to be aware of. Just like there are Aspire Cleito fakes out there, there are fake Clieto coils. In fact, there are a lot of fake Cleito coils that are disappointing a lot of people. There are a lot of discussions on the Aspire forums about fake Cleito coils and once again it is very important to make sure you buy authentic Cleito coils.
Let’s say you buy some Cleito coils from a shop, go home and check the authenticity code at the Aspire website. You find out, unfortunately, that your coils are fake. What do you do? You can try and return them but really you don;t have a lot of good options. What you want to do is to avoid the whole mess of clones and counterfeits by sticking to buying from a reputable vendor like Direct Vapor, the No Clone Zone, where you will not have the worry about being ripped off by fakes.
The authentic Aspire Cleito coils are phenomenal. The Clapton wrapping is flawless. We took a couple of them apart to have a closer look and these tall, vertical Claptons are made perfectly. The vapor is so good as is the flavor. Amazingly, we never once experienced any real spitback. Replacement coils cost less that $20 for a pack of five and simply simplify amplifies the awesomeness of the long-term value that you are going to get when you buy a Cleito subohm vape tank.
Aspire Cleito Review
As I was compiling data for the Aspire Cleito review I wanted to gather as many opinions and experiences as possible before officially making either a recommendation or not. In my opinion, the Cleito is one of the best vape tanks of the year based on performance, quality and value. I asked Ray at ECCR to describe his experience with the Cleito. He said that it is an excellent top fill tank and a juice hog! The Clapton coils do make the vapor but of course that also means that you are going through a lot of ejuice.
The consensus for the Aspire Cleito review was resoundingly positive. A couple of minor cons did come up. The fact that it uses a lot of ejuice is made up for by the fact that the Cleito very efficiently and effectively converts that juice into huge, rich and flavorful vapor. But yes, you are going to go through a lot of e-liquid.
Another con was the fact that you can’t build your own coils. So if you like to re-build and create your own coils take a look at our full list of the best e-cig vapor tanks of 2016 where you will find several choices that let you build your own.
The other con was the fact that you can only replace coils when the 3.5 ml tank is empty or you will have to dump out whatever e-juice you have in there when you need to change coils.
That is three cons and none are very significant. The Cleito was not designed for rebuilders so labeling that a con is dubious but nonetheless it was mentioned to me by a colleague and I do want to be balanced with this Aspire Cleito review. For my money, the biggest con is the current absence of the availability of temp control coils. Of course the current Clapton coil options are stellar and I would not be surprised to see TC coils offered in the future.
Okay, there are a lot more pros! The number one pro is the excellent performance. The Cleito may be inexpensive, but it performs at a high level. The vapor production is brilliant and the flavor are a lot better than you get from tanks that cost a lot more. The coils are long lasting and the build quality is amazing for the price. You will notice how smooth and easy everything connects.
The airflow is off the charts. Fantastic airflow from three large 9 mm by 2 mm airflow slots. Adjusting the airflow is smooth like butter. With the top fill design, the Cleito has to be one of the easiest, if not the easiest, sub ohm tank on the market. The coil design and Claptons accentuate the flavor so not only do you get huge vapor you will enjoy a full flavored subohm vape.
The new innovations that we covered in our Aspire Cleito review all contribute to a sensational vaping experience. With a price tag of under $25, this is one of the easiest recommendations I have ever made. Two big thumbs up for the Aspire Cleito.
